tSCAN has close links with its manufacturing partners including Tire Profiles Inc (TPI) in the USA, founded by Roger Tracy.
The origins of TPIs proprietary technology is over 30 years ago in the railway industry when Roger Tracy developed a completely new way of measuring and monitoring the wear of rolling stock wheels in real time using laser imaging techniques. This innovation contributed to the development of a multi million dollar industry. Today TPI applies its technical know how to diagnose uneven tyre wear and wheel misalignment.
